| Harmony Hilltop Property Management is owned and managed by Milton L. “Dusty” Hallman, C.G.M. Dusty is a triple-certified, award-winning property management professional with over twenty years experience in resort, high-end commercial and upscale residential landscape design, installation and long-term management. Dusty has managed the grounds, landscape and facilities of properties as diverse and challenging as Marriott’s Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Beach Resorts in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; the exclusive Cheval Polo and Country Club and the equally-exclusive Avila Country Club, both in Tampa, Florida; and the award-winning Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida.
Certified by the Professional Grounds Management Society as a Certified Grounds Manager in 1993, Dusty served on PGMS’ Board of Directors from 1999 through 2004. He received their President’s Award in 2001 and served as their national president himself in 2003. Dusty has also twice received PGMS’ Green Star Honor Award for excellence in landscape management. |
Also in 2003, Landscape Management magazine named Dusty’s operation one of its “Top Ten Grounds Organizations in the U.S” in its prestigious annual “LM 100.” Dusty has written articles on grounds and landscape management for several national magazines and has served on Landscape Management magazine’s Advisory Panel since 2001. Landscape Management magazine even named Dusty their “Grounds Management Professional of the Year” in 2004 . In addition, Dusty has spoken on “Grounds Management in the Carolinas” at Duke University, at the ICFA University at the University of Memphis and at various state, regional and national seminars and conferences. He is a certified Master Gardener as well as a certified pesticide applicator.
Established in 2000, Harmony Hilltop is a thirty-one acre nature preserve located directly adjacent to the Rendezvous Mountain State Educational Forest, five miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway in NW Wilkes county, near Parsonsville, North Carolina. It is home to wild turkey, barred owl, deer, bear, bobcat, Dusty and Karen Hallman and a plethora of other wildlife. |
